Key Information

We are offering August backers or later with orders containing one or more Espresso items:
 
  • a FREE UPGRADE FROM ESPRESSO TO CHERRY
  • an UPGRADE FROM ESPRESSO TO BLACK/RUSTIC WALNUT FOR THE PRICE DIFFERENCE OF CHERRY TO WALNUT

All August backers or later with one or more Espresso items in their order.

Our customer service team must have a response by June 10th at 5pm for an upgrade to take effect. 

No, this is an all or nothing switch. All espresso items must either:

  • Stay espresso OR
  • Upgrade to Cherry OR
  • Upgrade to Black Walnut OR
  • Upgrade to Rustic Walnut

The reasoning here is to avoid data errors which could potentially cause additional issues in production and delay people from getting orders. 

This will not affect your shipping tier. 

If you upgrade to Rustic Walnut, your accessories will upgrade to Black Walnut, as we do not offer accessories in Rustic Walnut. 

Additional Questions

Espresso stain is the newest item to get hit with supply chain issues. While we have enough stain to keep us moving for the near future, we are anticipating the possibility of a bottleneck in a few months, which could cause delays to some portion of deliveries. We're offering this upgrade in order to mitigate as many customers as possible from experiencing any additional delays.

June and July are currently in production and are the primary tiers we are shipping. Changes to the data for those tiers could disrupt production/shipping for those orders (and potentially cause ripple effects).

Cherry and Walnut are both domestic woods that we are confident we are able to source in the necessary volume. 

Padauk, Wenge, and Purpleheart are all exotic woods, and Tavern Elm is a stained wood that may also have stain supply chain issues. 

All orders that have not received a response by 5pm on June 10th, 2022 will be left as Espresso.
