Ah, yes, Waterdeep. A den of political intrigue and shady back-alley dealings. You might be thinking to yourself: “I’d love to lord over a town like that.” You’ve certainly come to the right place then.
Play as a powerful lord vying for control of the City of Splendors, your strings controlling the puppets that are the citizens. You can expand the city by purchasing new buildings, recruit adventurers to go on quests, and play intrigue cards that expand your power and control, helping or hurting the other lords along the way. It’s like if you stopped your TTRPG session and decided to RP as one of the people giving you a quest. You know, that one guy you want to punch half the time but you need him for his resources or information he has? Yea, that’s the one!
