DOUGLAS FIR
Pseudotsuga Menziesii

Our Douglas Fir is quartersawn and absolutely free of defects and grain interruptions, with a characteristic striping grain. It works well, although it’s prone to splitting, so some care must be taken while working it. However, it’s remarkably stable and does not warp or move erratically as some woods do. It’s color deepens to a golden hue over time.
