Hello all,

It’s time for our mid-month check-in for July.

Key Takeaways

  • The Modular Desk project has been fulfilling steadily, with our weekly pickup schedule continuing without any major hiccups or interruptions. Generally, production and fulfillment have been smooth.
  • There were some minor slip-ups we mentioned last time – mostly to do with incorrect hardware being shipped, or missing hardware. We’ve been ironing out this process. Part of this is due to the ad-hoc nature of the initial shipments. We’re implementing a more formal process for picking and packing hardware and other items, now that our volume and throughput is increasing, and this should address these issues.
  • Production throughput is increasing. We’ve been slowing increasing the number of units in each run, and our most recently begun run of desks contains 26 units – well above our target of 20. As long as there are no issues, we’ll continue at a similar level moving forward, but so far, there’s no indication of this volume being a problem.
  • The PC Tower Mount is still on track for a delivery in late July, a little less than two weeks from now.
  • The Monitor Ledge remains in engineering, but is being actively worked on now. We apologize for the delays – our lead engineer and designer, Jason, is still largely occupied working on some machinery issues, but we do have the team working on this to get it wrapped up and pushed to full production ASAP.
  • We’ll be at Gen Con this year, as always, so if you’ll be at the convention and want to say hi, you can find us at booth #2719. Look for the giant hanging sign above the booth to find us! In particular, you may want to swing by to check out the Modular Desks – the models we’ll have this year are new, and final production models, as opposed to the early prototypes we’ve had with us at every other convention thus far. We’ll also have our other furniture lines represented, as well as some new pieces to showcase our new custom shop, known as our Signature Series. There’s sure to be something of interest, so come say hello!
  • If you’ve moved since placing your order, or will be soon, get in touch to let us know! We want to make sure your Modular Desk reaches you safe and sound, so please keep your address with us up to date. It’s important to note that if you’ve updated your address through WyrmwoodGaming.com, this does not affect orders you’ve already placed! The only way to change the address of a placed order is by contacting us directly, so drop us a line at sales@wyrmwoodgaming.com if you need us to change that.

Next Update: August 1st

And that does it for this update! We thank you all for your patience and support, and hope you’re enjoying your desks out there. We’re working to ramp up production and fulfillment to get more and more of you your desks as soon as possible. We’ll check back in on the first, in just a couple of weeks, with the latest news. Until then, enjoy your summer, and have a great day!
