A new month is here, so let’s take a look at our progress once again!
Key Information
- Shipping has remained largely steady, however there was a slight downturn in number of orders shipped recently. This isn’t cause for alarm, but we wanted to mention in the spirit of full disclosure. It was mostly a result of a couple machinery issues and other parts of the process not quite lining up with ship-outs. Overall, it’s a minor blip, and should be past us already.
- Production is going strong, and remains up to our targets, so nothing to report on this front. As of this update, we’ve shipped just under 230 desks, with a further 30 currently ready to ship, meaning we’re just shy of 260 desks completed at this time.
- One area we’ve struggled is in documentation; particularly, the instructions for the assembly of the Desk. We appreciate you bearing with us while we work on this. The Desk is a complex product, and with written instructions, we have been taking pains to make sure we are completely accurate and comprehensive, and that’s taken much longer than expected. We’re currently vetting the draft of the instructions by using them to carefully build a desk with all components, and we’re nearly done with this. As soon as we’ve made any necessary adjustments and finalized the documentation for print, we’ll upload this to the website for easy download. Thankfully, our desk clients are an intelligent, resourceful group, and you’ve been putting the desk together using the existing video successfully. Nonetheless, the booklet is on the way.
- The Desk production and fulfillment is going rather well at this point, but we are working to streamline and improve the process. But all in all, things are steady.
- If you’ve moved since placing your order, or will be soon, get in touch to let us know! We want to make sure your Modular Desk reaches you safe and sound, so please keep your address with us up to date. It’s important to note that if you’ve updated your address through WyrmwoodGaming.com, this does not affect orders you’ve already placed! The only way to change the address of a placed order is by contacting us directly, so drop us a line at sales@wyrmwoodgaming.com if you need us to change that.
- If you encounter any issues with your desk once it arrives, let us know! You can fill out this support form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible with assistance and next steps.

That about wraps up this update. As we’ve mentioned before, at some point, we’ll wind down these updates, as our lead time from order to delivery shrinks from months to weeks for many orders. As that happens, we’ll likely close them out with some information on what’s next for the Desk – new accessories, new options? Time will tell, and we’ll share it with you, as we pivot from fulfilling outstanding orders to looking forward to those yet to come.
