Here we are at the mid-point of December, which marks the final fulfillment update of the year for this project. Let’s check in and see the latest!
Key Information
- We continue to ship desks steadily, and chip away at our backlog of orders. As we catch up more and more, we’ll be transitioning the Desk from a fulfilling project to an ongoing book of business, and that will mean these updates will come to an end. We’ll likely have at least 2-3 more updates before that occurs, but the time is drawing near. Which is great news!
- Of course, we aren’t caught up yet – we’re doing our best to prioritize the oldest orders, as we always do, but there’s always a juggling act, where we prioritize the parts and pieces to build for the oldest orders, and then filling ALL orders we can that need those parts. Then we find what the next oldest order needs, and repeat the process. It’s making progress, but there’s of course still plenty of work left.
- We went to PAX Unplugged last weekend, and the desk was a big hit! We had a lot of interest there, which was surprising, since it’s all about tabletop gaming… the name is “unplugged,” so who’s interested in a computer desk?! A lot of people, it turns out! And that’s good, because we have no intention of stopping support for the Modular Desk anytime soon. Even after we’ve fulfilled all outstanding orders, we’re committed to supporting and growing the Modular Desk book of business for a long time to come.
- If you’ve moved since placing your order, or will be soon, get in touch to let us know! We want to make sure your Modular Desk reaches you safe and sound, so please keep your address with us up to date. It’s important to note that if you’ve updated your address through WyrmwoodGaming.com, this does not affect orders you’ve already placed! The only way to change the address of a placed order is by contacting us directly, so drop us a line at sales@wyrmwoodgaming.com if you need us to change that.
