Hello all!
This week, we’re forgoing the video portion of the update, as Ian has been away. We do, however, have some important news to share, so let’s dive in and take a look at the latest information on the Modular Desk project.
Key Information
- As of this update, we have the first six Modular Desk orders complete and ready for pickup. They should be shipping out this week, through one of our furniture shipping partners, Marlo transport. We’ve had very good results with them, and we trust they’ll keep up the excellent work delivering the Modular Desk. We’ll be working with several carriers to ship the Modular Desk, not just Marlo, but they will be handling these initial orders.
- We have reached out to the clients at the top of the shipping queue, including these six orders, to confirm addresses, as it has been a long time since we gathered that info.
- The initial wave of shipments will not have a printed assembly manual, as this is still being finalized; however, we have a thorough assembly video available, and that will be accessible via a QR code included with each shipment.
- The Monitor Ledge remains in the late stages of development. However, cubbies and drawers are beginning to move through production now. Obviously these are needed for most orders, so this is good news and will be instrumental in shipping more orders out.
- At this point we have about a dozen orders in various stages of production. We’re aiming to ship six a week to start, and ramp that up to ten per week as soon as possible.
- We’ll be in touch to let you know your order is shipping, and you should also expect contact from our carrier to schedule the delivery via phone call, text message and/or email. Please be sure to respond to this carrier notification to confirm your availability!
- If you’ve moved since placing your order, or will be soon, get in touch to let us know! We want to make sure your Modular Desk reaches you safe and sound, so please keep your address with us up to date. It’s important to note that if you’ve updated your address through WyrmwoodGaming.com, this does not affect orders you’ve already placed! The only way to change the address of a placed order is by contacting us directly, so drop us a line at sales@wyrmwoodgaming.com if you need us to change that.

This is a fairly brief update, but still a significant one; we’re finally shipping out the Modular Desk! I know it’s been a long time coming, more than you (or we) anticipated, but we’re confident you’re going to love the results once you finally have a chance to lay your hands on them. The Modular Desk represents our efforts to achieve excellence in both form and function. Whether or not we’ve ultimately succeeded is for you to say, but we’re proud to call the Modular Desk a part of the Wyrmwood furniture family. Thank you for helping bring it to life!
